Commercial/ Multi-Engine Rating – Michael Stauter

Multi-Engine-RatingOn Friday, April 9, 2010  Michael Stauter successfully passed his commercial/multi-engine check ride with FAA Designated Pilot Examiner Bob Howell.

Earlier this year Michael completed his Commercial Pilot check ride and this multi-engine is an add-on to his Commercial rating.  He is shown here with professional certified multi-engine flight instructor Bill Shuford and alongside N727LF, our multi-engine trainer.  Congratulations Michael.

First Solo – Colin Pace

Colin-PaceColin Pace recently completed his First Solo under the watchful eye of professional certified flight instructor David Gazda.

We are especially proud of Colin as he has already advanced past the first solo stage of his flight training while being a full-time student at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville.  Way to go Colin! Read more

Private Pilot Checkride – Andy Bradley

Andy deserves special recognition because he dedicated time and perseverance by flying 2-3 lessons weekly with the result of being ready for the Private Pilot check ride in record time. Congratulations to Andy for has accomplishment from all of us at Lanier Flight Center.

Lanier Flight Center Open House Saturday May 15th, 2010

Lanier Flight Center Open HouseSaturday, May 15, 2010 is International Learn To Fly Day and Lanier Flight Center is celebrating by holding an Open House Celebration.  This year our Open House Event features flight training and learning to fly with our staff of professional certified flight instructors available to answer questions and offer Discovery Flight demonstrations.

Get answers to your questions about flight training such as how much does it cost?  How long does it take?  You’ll get a good idea of what you will learn and you’ll get to see the aircraft you will be flying. Lanier Flight Center’s experienced staff of flight instructors will be there to answer all the questions you may have.  Take a tour or the flight school and meet instructors in a casual and relaxed setting.
