After a summer of hard work and dedication, student Michael Deloach has become CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR Michael Deloach! Michael flew his beautiful Beech A36 for his check ride with FAA DPE Dan Emin at PDK. Michael’s instructor, Chuck Padgett, enjoyed working with him and knows that Michael will share his love of flying with some lucky future pilots! Robert Burdett, Jr. is all smiles after making his FIRST SOLO FLIGHT in Cessna Skycatcher N6029Z! Robert said he waited his whole life to learn to fly, and his instructor, Rick Cornelison, was excited to witness this milestone event in Robert’s aviation journey! His instructor, Steve Thompson, enjoyed the journey with Travis and said he’s a young man who is going places! OUTSTANDING JOB, TRAVIS!
It was a beautiful day to fly, but Harvey Wadsworth didn’t need VFR conditions to land at KPDK after achieving his INSTRUMENT RATING! Harvey’s dedication and determination paid-off in receiving the “thumbs-up” from FAA DPE Ben Carr, and his instructor, Jeff Reimer, couldn’t have been prouder! It’s time to celebrate with one of our own, Tyler Gove, who earned his INSTRUMENT RATING with FAA DPE Randy Haralson! Tyler’s dedication and positive attitude have always been sky high, and are only gaining altitude as he soars to pursue his next ratings! And Tyler holds the distinction of being Lanier Flight Center’s FIRST Part 141 graduate since we added that track to our offerings! Please join all of us in a big, “WAY TO GO, TYLER!”
