It took a little time to get a new photo of Mike Hall with his stunning Cessna TTx, but that’s only because he’s been putting his recent PRIVATE PILOT certificate to good use! From the factory delivery to his return from using his ticket to fly her to Grenada and back, Mike and his T240 have been living the dream! Mike’s focus during flight training served him well, and all of us at Lanier Flight Center are proud and excited to see our friend Mike Hall’s aviation journey continue! SUPERB WORK, MIKE!

Harrison Wheeler – First Solo (02/11/2017)

Turning 16 is a big deal, but soloing for the first time when you turn 16 is truly momentous! Please join the Lanier Flight Center family in a standing ovation for our own Harrison Wheeler, who made his FIRST SOLO FLIGHT in Cessna Skycatcher N70252!
After teaching his own son to fly, LFC owner, Troy Wheeler was speechless except for two words uttered on Harrison’s first solo landing, “Beautiful… beautiful.” When asked how Harrison was doing after his solo, Troy remarked that his chest was out a little further. We’re pretty sure Dad’s is, too, and justifiably so. OUTSTANDING JOB, HARRISON!

If the Groundhog promises more winter like this, Jim Breen says bring it on! It was a beautiful day at PDK and our friend, Jim Breen, received two thumbs-up from FAA DPE Dan Emin on his PRIVATE PILOT check ride! Jim looks forward to adventures in his beautiful Skylane, and all of us at Lanier Flight Center wish him blue skies and tailwinds! GREAT JOB, JIM!
