At Lanier Flight Center, our focus is on providing the newest, safest, most comprehensive, and most desirable aviation experience for our valued customers. We have the benefit of both our President and our Director of Maintenance, who fly the Boeing 777 for American Airlines, bringing the professionalism of their trade into our business. Combined with the business acumen contributed by our Vice President, a successful self-made entrepreneur, our leadership is solid.
Our ongoing affiliation with Textron Aviation, the world’s General Aviation powerhouse, affords premium resources for our customers from the Cessna King Schools Flight Training Curriculum to the newest flight training and aircraft rental fleet in the southeast. We have been a Cessna Pilot Center training pilots from the private to the professional ratings for eleven years, and are the exclusive Authorized Sales Representative for all new Cessna piston aircraft sales in four states: Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
Currently, we have two offices in north Georgia housing 20 aircraft and as many instructors between Gainesville at KGVL and Atlanta at KPDK, and we are entertaining prospective locations for launching additional Lanier Flight Center operations. We have in-house aviation services ranging from fueling to aircraft maintenance, as well as various aircraft management accommodations.
Over the years, we have taken a progressive approach to meeting our customers’ needs by adding amenities like on site FAA written exams, on site FAA medical exams, online scheduling, and online ground school courses to our offerings. Additionally, we offer Part 135 (charter) operations under Lanier Flight Express, and feature a Cessna Conquest 425 and a Cessna Turbo Skylane 182. Our team of dedicated professionals enjoys serving in this dynamic environment, and our 200 member flying club will attest that there is no place like Lanier Flight Center for their aviation experience.
