David Gazda – Flight Instructor

David Gazda is originally from Jacksonville ILL. David’s eyes were opened to the love of aviation as a Civil Air Patrol member.

Later, after starting training at Bob Jones university’s aviation department, he discovered Lanier Flight Center and obtained his Private Pilot certificate. While continuing to pursue his passion for aviation and working on his Certified Flight Instructor rating he worked as our flight line Supervisor, taking care of aircraft, making sure that equipment is properly positioned, maintained and ready for our customers to fly.

David’s love, enthusiasm and his career is aviation and he loves to teach customers who want to learn to fly.  In early 2009, he accomplished his Professional Certified Flight Instructor rating.  We are fortunate to have David on our Instructional staff.  He is currently working on obtaining advanced Instructor ratings as well.
