Jackson Slappy – Flight Instructor
Jackson Slappy has been flying for almost 25 years. His love of flying started with
his father who worked for the FAA. He was able to see the flight operations from the
inside and knew one day he would be joining the aviation community.
He started out while an undergraduate at Georgia Tech earning his private pilot
certificate. From there he went on to accumulate his commercial single and
multiengine instrument. While in the Navy he added his CFI, CFII, and MEI as well.
His interests in aviation include pleasure flying with friends and family and
introducing others to the exciting world of aviation. He also specializes in
aircraft systems, airspace systems operations, and risk management and human factors
in complex systems.
He emphasizes smooth, precise, and safe flying. He also facilitates a deeper
understanding of how airplane and navigation systems work, and how pilots respond to
make flying a truly enjoyable experience at any level.
