John Stauter – Flight Instructor – CFII, MEI
John’s aviation career began in 1971 at Auburn University where he received his private pilot certificate through the Navy ROTC program. He then earned his wings as a Naval Aviator and became a Patrol Plane Commander and Mission Commander while flying P-3C’s. He later joined Delta Air Lines and flew as Captain on the B-727, B-737, B-757, B-767, DC-9 and MD-88 and has logged over 17,500 hours.
He holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with the following ratings: B-727, B-737, B-757, B-767, DC-9, Airplane Multiengine Land Commercial Privileges and Airplane Single Engine Land.
He recently completed his Certified Flight Instructor Instrument training at Lanier Flight Center. He chose LFC for his instructor training because of the experienced and highly professional staff of flight instructors as well as the modern, meticulously maintained fleet of training aircraft.
He is very proud to join the dedicated staff as an instrument instructor and looks forward to many years of working with enthusiastic individuals who desire to pursue aviation as a career, as part of their business plan or as a hobby.
