Pilot Accomplishments

At Lanier Flight Center we recognize that our pilots are the heart of the business. It is with great pride that we join in celebrating their accomplishments and we wish a hearty congratulations to each of our pilots who have completed milestones in their training.

Mike Bradbury - First Solo!

Mike Bradbury did, with bravery and courage, assume command of a Cessna 172 at Gilmer Memorial Airport on June 28, 2007 for his first solo flight! Mike is doing a marvelous job of working toward his Private Pilot certificate here at Lanier Flight Center. He is out at the airport several times a week for flight lessons, always bringing questions and items for discussion which fuel the learning process. We have no doubt that he will make a terrific Private Pilot.

Mike has been here working toward his private pilot certificate since June 2007 and is making fantastic progress. He is a student of Matt Perrer.
