Turbo Skylane Overview
The Turbo 182T Skylane is ideal for a higher calling and its faster too. While the high-wing design is well established – often termed “classic” – every notion of familiarity will be left on the tarmac as you discover what the Turbo Skylane can really do. An advanced slope-controlled turbocharger gives this bird the pop to rocket to its 20,000-foot service ceiling at a brisk 1,039-feet-per-minute climb, carrying full-rated power all the way up to its 176-ktas maximum speed. And with the heated prop and built-in, four-place oxygen system, the Turbo Skylane cruises over inclement weather or spiring mountains with unfettered aplomb.

Cessna Skylane Avionics
Take the controls just once behind the Garmin G1000® glass cockpit with integrated Synthetic Vision Technology (SVT), and you’ll never again want to fly any other way. The avionics suite integrates all primary flight, engine and sensor data with the SVT’s three-dimensional terrain display for at-a-glance situational awareness.

The G1000 also incorporates a fully integrated transponder and dual Nav/Comm/WAAS/GPS equipment. Two large, colorful, 10.4-inch high-resolution active-matrix LCDs gather and present real-time flight-critical data, including traffic information, digital altitude, heading data, and topographic and relative terrain mapping. It also features subscription-based XM WX Satellite Weather with XM Satellite Radio®.

The avionics suite includes autopilot controls*, engine indication, crew alerting and a digital audio panel, all of which bring new levels of safety, confidence and just plain fun to the Cessna single-engine line.
