Set Up an Introductory Flight
The best introduction to your pilot training is an Introductory Flight. Your experience will let you see what flight training is like, and involves an hour in the airplane plus time with your instructor on the ground.
Your instructor will guide you through the required preflight inspection and prepare the aircraft for flight. After advising airport traffic of your intentions, your instructor will walk you through taxiing the aircraft to the runway, making final preflight checks and then taking-off!
From our Gainesville (KGVL) location your flight will offer great views of the lake and, on a clear day, the mountains to the north and the Atlanta skyline to the west. Departing from our Atlanta (KPDK) location, you will have options of flying over the city and surrounding areas like scenic Stone Mountain. If you have any questions, you can contact us directly at email@example.com or give us a call at either 678.989.2395 (KGVL) or 770.457.1270 (KPDK).
We Offer an Introductory First Lesson and a Discovery Flight for Two:
Introductory Flight / First Lesson ($275) Great for aspiring pilots or for those who have always looked upward and wondered what it was like to fly. The one hour introduction to flight allows enough time for the new student to actually handle the controls of the airplane while flying around the local area. This experience as a pilot provides the chance to see some of the advanced features and capabilities of our new Cessna aircraft equipped with G1000 flat screen avionics. And it is loggable in the student pilot’s logbook for applying toward flight training hours.
Discovery Flight for Two ($325) Includes 80 minutes of flight time in a C172 G1000. This package is designed for two pilots and includes the opportunity for both individuals to fly left seat. After your preflight walk-around, you’ll take to the skies in our new Cessna airplane, fly to a nearby airfield, and land. Then you will swap seats and fly back. These make great gifts for loved ones who have expressed an interest in aviation and want to learn more about flying. The Discovery Flight for Two is designed to be a short inexpensive introduction to flying lessons that will give you the chance to meet our instructors, get familiar with the aircraft and airport environment, and experience the controls in flight.
