John O’Farrell – First Solo Flight (6/13/12)

It was a beautiful Summer day on Wednesday June 13th, 2012 when John O’Farrell completed his first solo on Runway 5 at Gainesville airport in SkyCatcher 6029Z. John made 3 laps around the pattern to complete his 3 solo takeoffs and landings like a seasoned pro! John’s flight instructor Liz Kooymans couldn’t be more proud of his huge accomplishment!!! John’s hard work and diligence have most certainly paid off…next stop, Sport Pilot Certificate!! Congratulations John!

Anita Shuffer – Commercial Multi Engine (6/9/12)

AnitaAnita flew N727LF to Western Carolina Regional airport where she spent the morning with Don Jones the DPE and successfully obtained a Commercial Multi Engine rating. Her instructor, Chuck Padgett and the rest of us are proud of her accomplishment. Way to go Anita!!
