EXCITING NEWS FROM TEXTRON AVIATION CEO, SCOTT ERNEST!

As a valued customer, I am sharing with you the news that today marks the close of Textron’s acquisition of Beech Holdings, making Beechcraft Corporation a member of the Textron family. Textron also announced it will bring together the Cessna and Beechcraft businesses under a new segment, Textron Aviation, that includes the industry’s largest global service network.

The iconic Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker brands will remain distinct within Textron Aviation to preserve their rich histories and respective strengths in the marketplace. Textron Aviation brings together a strong portfolio of class-leading, complementary general aviation products including Citation and Hawker business jets, King Air twin-engine turboprops, Caravan single-engine utility turboprops and a great line up of piston-engine aircraft representing the Cessna and Beechcraft brands. In addition, Textron Aviation will be home to the Beechcraft T-6 trainer and AT-6 light attack aircraft.

As our customer, you will continue to benefit from Textron’s ongoing commitment to innovative products and services. Powered by a workforce with decades of unmatched experience in designing, building and supporting aircraft, Textron Aviation is ideally positioned to deliver on our commitment to producing high quality aircraft and providing world-class service to you, our valued customer.

I expect that the integration of these two businesses will be a seamless process for you. Additionally, our combined global service network will continue to provide uninterrupted service and support for all Citation, Caravan, Beechcraft and Hawker aircraft, including the Hawker 4000 and Beechcraft Premier IA.

Today is a milestone moment, not only for the newly formed Textron Aviation, but for our entire industry. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your business and continued support.

Sincerely,

Scott
