Hey… It’s Spring Break Time for Pilots! Pack your favorite shorts and grab your sunscreen and camera because it’s time for all Fun-Loving Pilots to fly to Lakeland, FL. (KLAL) for the annual adult spring break for propeller heads and pilots. It’s the 2011 Sun-N-Fun fly-in, starting March 29th thru April 3rd.
LFC is planning to take a flight of our students and customers down for one day after leaving on Thu or Fri afternoon, March 31st or April 1st. We will come back the next evening. We will be staying that first night in Merritt Island, FL. after a brief fuel stop at Palm Coast. The next morning we will get up with the sun and fly west to Lakeland and spend the entire day at the event. Plan to see the Blue Angels and the F22 Raptor and all the cool airplanes and warbirds.
Flight instructor Chuck Padgett will be organizing LFC’s group for the trip down to Florida. So, mark your calendars and please email Chuck Padgett at chuck.padgett@lanierflightcenter.com to let him know your level of interest and to schedule and/or coordinate your trip.
